This world is full of dark and problematic personalities—narcissists, sociopaths, psychopaths, and others kind or energy vampires. They can be a parent, teacher, partner, closest friend and without realising it, they can destroy our self-worth and identity. I, too, was a victim of this environment. I spent my life being a people pleaser, always looking to be loved in the wrong places without being able to give that love to myself, and continually sabotaging myself. It was a painful cycle where I sought validation from those least willing to offer it. However, my discovery of journaling transformed my life. Through the practice of journaling, I was able to shift my mindset completely, change my inner set of beliefs. This powerful tool granted me a life of peace and happiness as I learned to value and express my true self. Inkpreuneur is my initiative to extend a helping hand to those with similar backgrounds.
